Subcontract machining

Tilling Engineering specialise in small to high volume batch quantities at our site in Altrincham, Cheshire. We have a variety of CNC machinery including CNC Turning and Milling. All our machines are complimented by our sophisticated 3D CAD CAM Design system, where all of our CNC machines are linked to our network of CAD CAM seats.

Along with conventional CNC and manual machining we also offer 3D machining where we can machine parts to customer CAD data.

3D machining

At Tilling Engineering we can either work from customer's own print or we can translate drawings from various other CAD seats. Such as:

  • CATIA V4 & V5
  • IGES
  • PARASOLID
  • SOLIDEDGE
  • .STL
  • STEP
  • SOLIDWORKS
  • CADRA.

We can also design specific components, jigs and fixtures.

Tilling Engineering Ltd can work with a variety of materials such as Stainless Steel, Mild Steels, Aluminium's, Plastics and more exotic materials such as Nickel Alloys, Hastelloys, Titanium, and Inconels. We do carry most materials in stock so we can turn jobs around quickly for our customers when the need arises.
