Tilling Engineering can design and manufacture a wide range of Stainless Steel Fabrications for all of our industries that we serve.

Welding services

TIG welding is the most commonly used method as we can weld in materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and Steel. The TIG process offers more control when distortion of the part needs to be kept to a minimum.

MIG welding is also offered by us, and is used on the more common general fabrication work that we do.

Grinding and polishing

We also have Grinding and Polishing equipment here at our site in Altrincham.
Finishes can range from a Bead Blast Finish to Satin Finishes and then on from that we can achieve Mirror finishes, which is usually required by our pharmaceutical customers.
External and internal welds can be polished to achieve a crack and crevice free finish.

Tilling can also offer various surface finishes of our fabricated and machined parts, from passivated finishes to anodise and electro polishing of components. Especially on our assembly aids that we design and manufacture we do have some parts that are also rubber covered to protect surfaces that are critical require no damage during the process.
