Automotive industry
Tilling engineering has provided service and support to many automotive customers. We have designed and manufactured specialist equipment that has aided its customers in full vehicle assembly, sub part assemblies and the trimming and assembly of leathered surfaces and other materials to its formed sub part.
We also manufacture special hand tools for the industry which are either designed by us or by the customer to their drawings and information.
Below shows some specialist fixtures that were designed and manufactured by us for the assembly and trimming of parts for Bentley Motors.
The assembly fixtures are carefully assembled by our staff before it is tested ready for delivery to our customer.
The trimming fixture below, has been designed by ourselves using our CAD software, and also using our customers CAD data that has been translated from CATIA to our own format. On from that we have then produced components that we have machined on our CNC machines directly from toolpaths produced by our sophisticated MISSLER software.
